Bernie Sanders Rejects Leading A New “People’s Party” — Or Does He?

Kyle Kulinski has good, reconciliatory words in this video for progressives trying different paths (unlike in the last video I shared). I think, this is more like him, and – as I have been busy pointing out – more like we all should be if we want to make our country better. Infighting among ourselves is counter-productive.

Unfortunately, Kyle’s interpretation of Bernie’s reply to Chuck Todd on Meet The Press seems a bit hasty to me. When asked if he would go third party if the “Democratic” Party resists his reform attempts, Bernie replied, “Right now I am working to bring fundamental reform to the Democratic Party…” In my book that’s not saying ‘no’, but the equivalent of saying, “Hey, DP, if you keep resisting reform, then our ‘right now’ honeymoon will be over and the contingency is waiting in the wings!” This is very different indeed from back when he said well in advance that he wouldn’t run independently against the “Democratic” Nominee in last year’s election. Here’s the interview in question:
