I. Medicare for All (esp. Costs & Funding)

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for The Humanist Report, Mike Figueredo, and the title: “How We Pay for Medicare for All: An In-Depth Breakdown (w/ Andrea Witte)”)

Gist: Not only will it reduce overall medical spending costs, but the shift from households, businesses, state & local governments to the federal government won’t even be such a big change since the federal government already covers 2/3 of our healthcare costs. The benefits of this relatively minor rearrangement: (1) everybody gets covered all the time (even when laid off from work!), our national healthcare spending will go down, (3) households save more money in insurance premiums than they pay in raised federal taxes, and (4) businesses also save on insurance premiums and can finally focus on their business not having to chase down private health insurance deals anymore. Can you think of a better deal? Add to this drug price negotiations and publicly run health centers (especially in the currently under-served countryside) where doctors don’t need to be businessmen and can focus on their patient’s good health, and we will have immensely better healthcare than now and pay much less for it, too. The very definition of win-win. (savings estimate: ~$12 trillion over the next decade)

More points made: Funding Medicare for all involves SHIFTING, NOT RAISING, $22 billions. The average family, making around $57,000, is going to save nearly $7,000 a year compared to what they are currently spending on healthcare.

II. Taxes (Good & Bad)

More tax cuts for the top (and broken Trump campaign promise):

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for The Zero Hour with RJ Eskow and the title: »Frank Clemente on Tax Scam II: The Sequel’s Even Worse”«)

Taxes are the membership dues for a functioning good society and Americans used to know it:

III. “Democratic” Party Analysis

I am sharing this video starting in the middle, because the first half of this conversation is only soso (making a fairly good point about how the meaning of the term populism has been turned into a pejorative helping right-wing demagogues to advance their political career; then talking about Al Gore kind of skipping over the theft of his election and erroneously moving the date of the “Democratic” Party’s corruption from the eighties into the nineties). HOWEVER, 18:42 minutes in this talk gets interesting and really good as time advances. Some really sharp analysis of the DP, its attitude, position, and strategy:

IV. Bully Politics & War Crimes

Liberty & justice for all, except…:

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for The Young Turks, Mike Papantonio, and the title: “John Bolton Tries To Prevent His Pals From Being Prosecuted For War Crimes”)

Comment: Really sad to hear that Americans who used to stand up against hot and cold war crimes let themselves be warped into siding with them via tribal thinking. Is tribal thinking really so hard to overcome? How much of a human being are you if you can’t? We have a lot of grey matter in our skulls with which to overcome old evolutionary instincts. Let’s put it to use.

V. Past & Present (Ralph Nader & Abby Martin)

I can’t believe I didn’t come across and share this before. A great interview of Ralph Nader by Abby Martin back in 2015, sill very good to listen to:

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “The Empire Files: Ralph Nader & Abby Martin on the Corporate Elections”)

Comment: Isn’t it sad that our establishment media (and so many of their zombie puppets among the public) glorify a war criminal who destroyed millions of lives (G.W. Booh (sic)) and smear a national hero who saved over three million lives (Nader)? (and, no, G.W. Booh didn’t win the election of either of his two terms, and he didn’t get into the Oval Office the first time because of Nader’s votes which were far fewer than all the other needle tipping vote blocks; we the people really must learn to vote for what and whom we want instead of letting ourselves be gaslighted and manipulated by two evil major parties and their media shills)

Isn’t it amazing that people first falsely accuse Nader for causing Gore to lose the election to evil G.W.B., and later they glorify G.W.B. because he burps out a dislike for Trump? Tribal thinking galore, steered from the corrupt top.

VI. Corrupt Corporate State & Tax System

(My following time stamps are only approximate. Sorry. I don’t make a living with my posts, so I can run out of time.)

  • ~16 min: Even charitable (tax-free) donations are set up to screw us, the people.  Crashes, loans, interest rates, and economic disasters. The boomerang of financial capitalism.
  • ~30 min: Bankers can cast a spell to create money out of thin air. (money that you and I then have to work for)
  • ~50 min: The end of the New Deal.
  • ~60 min: China & intellectual property.
  • ~1:30 h: How returning interest rates and the government deficit in our current system will raid government spending. (As I keep saying, it is high time we start taxing excessive wealth (incl. excessive loan assets).

VII. True vs Fake Progressives

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for The Humanist Report, Mike Figueredo, and the title: “Kaniela Ing’s Dem Opponents Secretly Co-Opted by Health Insurance Lobbyists”)

VIII. Corruptitian Lies

… know no bounds. Stop believing the R&D corruptitians’ claims and promises. They serve the oligarchy and lie to you. It’s their business:

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for Secular Talk, Kyle Kulinski, and the title: “GOP Lies About Supporting Pre-Existing Conditions Protection”)

Comment: Think of shifty used cars salesmen running for office.

IX. History Shames Us

How come there were such massive uprisings of young people in the sixties against mere parts and symptoms of our corrupt system, and now that the root and overall picture of the evil and corrupt system is becoming ever more obvious, we are still only slowly waking up, yawning, and stretching and wondering what to do or even running into the arms of fascist demagogues and lying corruptitians whose only job is to fortify that system?

Birth of the robber billionaire’s tax havens:

(Note: If the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for Independent POV and the title: “The Spider’s Web: Britain’s Second Empire (Documentary)”)

Comment: Any more doubts that we are in the stranglehold of a global empire of robber billionaires (with the main power bases in the U.S. and England)?

X. Candidates: Nomiki Konst

… tells us about the commercialization of New York that’s driving New Yorkers out of their own city as it is take over by global oligarchs:
