Once again, this weekend comes with videos providing lots of insights in our economy and politics. Especially big topic: third world poverty in America and the upcoming great economic crash. But there is plenty more. So, if you are lucky enough to have a weekend, watch these videos instead of infantile adults chasing balls in an arena or paid liars talking false politics on TV.

The results of 30-40 years of neoliberalism: 8 families own as much as 50% of humanity, we live in a Mafia-economy and under Mafia-politics, and fascism is being propped up to prevent a people’s revolution, even a peaceful people’s revolution which would solve all evils – even for the top.
~11:30: Why do social programs get cut? The rich, in order to preserve their unearned wealth, want to shrivel government spending that might draw taxes from them. Not of course spending that is profitable to them (like military spending), but spending on the population.
When did our current trouble start? Mostly in the the 1970s when the rich got together and conspired to impose neoliberal rules and ideology on us — with the Business Roundtable, the Chamber of Commerce, “think tanks”, buying up and controlling the thereby no longer free press and mass media, lobbying and bribing politicians to rig the system for them and push traitors onto the Supreme Court…

III. Corporate-Made Death to the Economy

… and a huge government giveaway to the richest man on Earth. Let’s not forget that jobs and customers’ incomes are a vital part of any economy, the part being destroyed by large corporations and the corporate state (corporate-bribed-and-controlled governments):

IV. Profound Economic & Political Insights

Much of this stuff you have heard here before, but there are some precious pearls strewn throughout this speech, so I will guide you through this video. In the first part of the video Richard Wolff gives more details on Amazon’s evil deals, in case you want to hear more. The speech gets th most interesting for me at those stops:
31:27 min: interesting insider insights. (a little on Amazon, much on unions, subcontracting to fake high wages, professional PR liars…)
1:22:32 min: democracy. Why love it in public affairs but not at the workplace where we spend most of our adult lives? Why give up our liberty at work? How are CEOs and othr billionaires different from King George?

Accomplishing something is what really matters (like Medicare for All and a healthy economy, for instance). What does it matter if a party wins that doesn’t deliver (because Big Money pays them not to), or that delivers the wrong things (like even more tax breaks for the rich and world-wide wars for billionaire arms dealers’ profits).
