1. Trump is a perfect example of how the global establishment of robber billionaires has been pitting us working people against each other to divide and control us and gouge our lives while they are stealing the entire world from us. It is time we remember the words of our ancestors (now shamed as oh so evil socialist/communists): “Workers of the world unite!”
2. Rather than reinforcing our borders with walls, we should aim at uniting The People of the World against the robber billionaires and their horrible system of theft, tyranny, and destruction.

 

III. The Tension between Value, Price, Justice, & Sensibility

Mind Warps:

1. Laid off unemployed people have no value, hence don’t have public spending help them out.
2. Employers who lay off people, replace them illegally with undocumented immigrants, move the jobs to Mexico or China, or lay people off after replacing them with machines or software, have a LOT of value because they are “job creators” and therefore deserve ever more tax breaks.
3. People who are too young, too old, or too sick to work have no value and therefore don’t deserve public spending like Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and such… especially since half of that money has been taken from workers through FICA taxes (thanks to Reagan and his allies who shifted this tax burden from companies and the rich on workers).
4. People have low, limited, temporary value while they work a job or extreme, exultant, life-long value, even in their sleep, when they are rich “owning” banks, company assets, and so forth, like Jeff Bezos who therefore deservedly gets a lottery win every day and night sucked from the salaries of his workers.
5. Life has no value unless you re well off. I guess that’s a statement we might all agree on. I sure have wished countless of times that I had never been born into my life cursed by our system from the cradle to the grave. Imagine, human beings being born into a human-made system they can’t want to live in…

Anti-U.S.-Intervention Thoughts by a Maduro-Government Opponent

Analysis:

If he is truthful and accurate, Edgardo Lander’s explanations together with what else I have gathered over the years would come out to this gist: Venezuela was crippled by Latin-American-style colonialism and corruption and thereby plagued with huge abysmal poverty since its inception (for centuries), having abject poverty at a level of 25% of its population. Hugo Chavez was therefore elected by the mass of the people (especially those at the bottom but not only the poor) to fight poverty and corruption. He did alleviate poverty remarkably well (abject poverty being down to 5% now even years after his death) despite a cold war from the U.S., but he died too soon. Apparently, he did not manage to squash the centuries-old corruption during his presidency, and his successor and many members of his party are engaged in a lot of corruption themselves, as well as quite a bit of ineptitude.

What this man left out in his analysis were things like the Venezuelan oil crisis (meaning the plummeting of oil prices hurting a nation utterly dependent on its oil sales) and the long-standing economic squeezing schemes of the traditional Venezuelan plutocracy in cahoots with imperialist U.S. institutions. Therefore he might overestimate the degree of ineptitude and corruption of the current Venezuelan government (elected with more election integrity than we have in our own country, by the way).

Edgardo Lander clearly agrees with considerably more Maduro-friendly people, however, that what is currently going on is the forceful attempt at a staged coup or civil war by U.S. agents. Hearing this from a Venezuelan intellectual who despises the Maduro government is quite confirming. Seen in the light of the incessant chain of U.S.-staged fascistic and mass-murdering coup d’états and civil wars worldwide and especially in “America’s Back Yard”, there is for me little doubt of what is happening. The bizarre current circus along the Venezuelan-Columbian border with musical mass concerts and fake-humanitarian-aid deliveries reaches the level of stranger than fiction false flag hype, quite frankly. It is really sad that we Americans and many other people worldwide are still so easily duped apparently that such freak shows can be applied to “justify” regime change attempts.
