Note: This reminds me of our own public broadcasting institutions which have been secretly taken over by corporate money due to insufficient public funding, so that even they largely march in step with the big corporate media channels, raining the establishment propaganda on us and avoiding to tell us the truth about the oligarchy’s evil doings. XIV. Media War: Assange Update

Gist: Imprisoned for years without charges. For now sentenced to 50 weeks in a high security prison for the “crime” of having tried to escape politically motivated state persecution (seeking political asylum which broke the ‘bail’ on drummed up false charges) and headed for years of non-sentence imprisonment while the extradition negotiations are in process.

So, endless years of imprisonment for the “crime” of trying to escape this unjustified imprisonment plus the “crime” of being the target of a despotic foreign country’s extradition request. So, when you are an Australian visiting England and a U.S. regime asks the UK to arrest you and hand you over to the U.S. over drummed up charges, you end up in prison for years and years without any evidence or trial. This is called justice? And when will an American journalist face the same treatment when, say, China asks for his extradition? – Quite frankly, the UK should be sued for a crime against humanity, as it is making a total farce of the concept of law and justice. These corrupticians, prosecutors, and judges should face life sentences if justice were to ever prevail.
