I. Nick Brana & Scott Santens Discussing UBI

This week there was a great UBI interview by the Movement for a People’s Party. For once the issue of how to set it up was well dealt with. Kudos!

Scott seems to get what so many proponents of the UBI don’t get, namely that the free hand-out of huge amounts of money is already happening but going to the wrong recipients, namely the rich, and therefore we don’t need to worry about where the money for a UBI could come from (something I have been pointing out for quite some time). We don’t need to tax working people for it. Only the rich. Nick Brana, who impresses me time and again despite being so young, also stuck his finger into our festering common wound I am overly aware of when he said (58:28 min into the video): “Our models of work, our economic models, are holding us back from being able to embrace all of the the best qualities of life and those things that we are most intrinsically motivated to do.” Exactly! One of the reasons why I wish I had never been born is that I have spent all my life in other people’s treadmills, never being able to live my own life, always just being a pawn for the rich and powerfully positioned forcing me to toil for them or starve. I also like Scott’s remark at 1:03 about how we can’t live a decent life naowadays when back in te fifties a single income could feed an entire household and afford the American dream even though we were half as productive back then than now. A clear sign that our economy is rigged for the lazy rich and gouging the life out of the rest of us.

This sick pertinent refusal to acknowledge the rich and the poor has always made me pull my hair. How can an entire generation or two be so moronically caught in reality denial?

IV. Middle Class Struggling – But still Half Asleep?

… as the poor always were. So, the middle class is joining the poor, the rich first having gouged the poor and then decided to come for the middle classers’ throats as well. Time to wake up and comprehend the sociopathic, profit-greed driven system we have been born into but cannot live in. Sadly, many folks need a lot of time to wake up and look around with open eyes rather than letting themselves be led by devious mass media propaganda:

IX. A Political People’s Revolution

This may require more thinking, the idea apparently presented being not a political revolution inside the rigged political system nor an armed people’s revolution, but a people’s political revolution outside the rigged political system. The method is not well explained, I think. Still, let’s listen and start thinking about it the concept:

Side comment: As far as the insider job of 9/11 is concerned, the most important (to me) point left out here is that these sky scrapers exploded into dust in mid-air. That can never be the result of a fire. It only can be the result of professional demolition charges. (building 7, which is mentioned, is another such thorn in the eye)

Comment: Kim Iversen is an impressive recent discovery for me, but I have one point of criticism that also applies to a bunch of other good reporters and analysts: The erroneous we talk. No, it isn’t you or me, it isn’t us, who are doing all these terrible things to us and others. It is the gangsters of the oligarchy. Keep the distinction straight!
