9. The Economic Hitman Called for Action:
Interesting how people can be lured into doing evil things. Obvious that waking up from these delusions takes time (he, for example, hasn’t realized yet that capitalism is predatory by nature). The call for creating a new culture of massively demanding needed actions from those in power strikes me as helpful if not sufficient (removing the thrones of hoarded power and wealth is vital, if you ask me):

11. White Men Caucus
Particular high point: trying to fix something one doesn’t understand. If that is an integral part of white male culture in America, it shines quite a light on anti-immigrant supporters of fascist demagogues, no?

I also keep having to struggle with people stuck in that trap of rugged individualism, even when they themselves are upset with how it isolates people from each other and keeps them from compassion; because the idea of creating collective activism still repulses them. No, no, you must strengthen yourself as an individual, seek yet another new career to make ends meet, do all the research required to cure your illnesses (rather than demand a useful healthcare system), take psychological counseling to deal better with the problems of your life imposed by insurmountable outside forces. In fact, never believe in those outside forces. Insist to believe that you alone are the master of your destiny. I get the mental picture of people paddling in canoes stubbornly ignoring streams, whirlpools, and rapids.

13. Antisocial Culture
… and the stupid practice of so-called Homo sapiens to learn uncritically from one’s parents and community any kind of role to play, even evil destructive roles. That’s why it is so importan that those among us who wake up and start to think take the next step of sharing our discoveries and ideas with many others.
