Video Weekend 11-18-2017 (9 Videos)

This political video weekend edition covers four subjects: Political Corruption, Economy, Media, and Fresh Thinking

I. Political Party Corruption

Can this be real? 5 minutes into this video, reality turns inside out:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Donna Brazile Accidentally Reveals More Than Just DNC Corruption”)

Corruption Anyone? Did you think Donna Brazile was the real deal? Want to really know about corruption in our Twin-Party Tyranny? What if we follow Brazile’s money? Well there you go! Didn’t I tell you she was just another corrupt player?

In case you somehow missed the Donna Brazile revelations, here is a good review:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Nick Brana Comments on Brazile DNC Fraud Admission-Audio”)

II. Economy

Consumerism is part of the yoke we live under:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “[86] Activist Beaten, Arrested For Singing At Big Bank “)

Good interview with David Graeber from 2012 (a good follow-up if you heard his “DEBT: The First 5,000 Years” Google Talk or read my commentary on Wednesday:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Debt: The First 5000 Years – Extended Interview”)

Interesting thought: “Anarchy is democracy without a government.”

An Older (February) but Good Show on Immigrant Rights, Tim Black, Trump, and Basic Income (at 22:29 minutes). Especially the latter (at 22:29 minutes) is worth hearing as on of the best talking takes on UBI this year:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “[46] Tim Black, Lawyers Defending Immigrants, Basic Income & More”)

One point I’d like to add: a basic income is essentially a citizen dividend on our mutually owned country, as opposed to all dividends currently only going to the rich and well-to-do.

III. Media

Enlightening interview (media not beholden to our corporations and deep state are where we can get unfiltered U.S. news from; that includes defamed FOREIGN media):

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Abby Martin Exposes Untold History of U.S. Empire “)

Another alternative to censored corporate MSM and social media: Desperate exploited workers hide calls for help in their products:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Sweatshop Workers Sabotage Clothing”)

Despair, the grand old mother of invention…

IV. Rethinking our World

Thinking outside the box is necessary for any successful revolution. There can be no real change unless we change our thinking. According to thise speaker, 95% of the time people run on autopilot (essentially not thinking at all). When they do think, they usually think inside the box, typically a very small box. So, just as this gentleman suggests to business people, in politics, if we want real change for our country, we must likewise begin to think outside the box (a new party, a cross-party people’s coalition bringing in many third parties, not just voting but fixing our bad and rigged electoral system to have integrity and full representation through things like public campaign financing, publicly and oppositional counting of paper ballots, ranked choice or scored voting, a universal basic income combined with a federal job guarantee plus equitably shared national assets and a maximum income instead of merely raising the minimum wage…):

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Why the majority is always wrong | Paul Rulkens | TEDxMaastricht “)

And talking about public campaign financing:

A People’s Candidate Reveals the Boon of Public Campaign Financing (13:52 – 15:45):

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “This 2018 Progressive Candidate Has Her Pro-Wall Street Opponent SHOOK”)

Addendum: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has won the primaries! 🙂  (+followup-analysis)

Video Weekend 11-11-2017 (7 Videos)

This weekend’s mix of enlightening videos serves up short but powerful reports about the squeezing of our financially most unlucky fellow citizens and the neoliberal repeal of welfare. It also touches upon the prospects of a universal basic income (only a partial measure to turn things around, but at least a good start worth considering), social media censorship, and the rigging of the 2016 primaries. The latter, by now, has been partially admitted by DNC lawyers in court and a former DNC Chair but is still being played down and denied by our corporate media. Oh, how trustworthy they are.

I. Mike Figueredo does a beautiful job debunking the “Democratic” establishment’s lame denials of their election rigging:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Tom Perez Using EXACT Same Talking Points as Clinton’s Team to Discredit Brazile”)

If you need to refresh on the rigging of the 2016 “Democratic” Primaries, click here.

II. Social Media Censorship (to make sure you can’t tell your friends the truth the establishment wants nobody to know)

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “What You Aren’t Being Told About T w i t t e r Admitting Censorship!”)

III. If you are young, you better wake up to this reality and start fighting for a just society now while you still can:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Old and Poor: America’s Forgotten (Full Version)”)

IV. The loss of purpose in life when we are treated as trash, with great MLK quotes:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Inequality In Memphis: The Working Poor”)

V. Nice times in Jeb Bush’s state:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Hard Times Generation: Families living in cars”)

VI. The reality of welfare. While the entitlement of the rich is bigger than ever, the “entitlement” (the right to get help) for the poor is long gone:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Welfare’s Stigma in White Working-Class America (1/2)”)

Comment (you can add your own comments below): The stigma and failures of welfare are a big reason why we should move to a national citizen’s dividend a.k.a. universal basic income instead. The rich didn’t want to pay anything (or refrain from grabbing more) in order to help their fellow humans in desperate need. So they corrupted our politicians, parties, and thereby the government to cut, restrict, and – for many people in need – outright eliminate welfare; even though the rich never stopped being rich when they were being forced to pay higher taxes. Why? Because they hold most of the titles of possession for the pieces that make up our country. Therefore nearly all the dividends of our national economy flow exclusively to them before they get taxed. And after they leverage their wealth to avoid taxation, it stays with them barring the rest of us from our share. What did people who kick their struggling fellow citizens to the curb do to deserve owning our country? Why don’t we all get to own our country?

Yes, other measures must be taken, as well. By itself, a universal basic income is like placing a Band-Aid on a man getting mauled by pit bulls. As I will try to discuss in the future, it can help some of us a great deal when done right and also usher in a change in our public mentality which, so far, is way too accepting of our system of pure exploitation and total inequity.

Therefore, I repeat this video which I yesterday gave its own post, so as to be less likely to be missed. It fits very well into the present chain of videos. Basically, Canada is running a UBI pilot well worth keeping an eye on, I think, to observe the outcomes of this experiment:

Donna Brazile’s Revelations explained in a Meme

Donna Brazile’s attempt to paint the DNC as an innocent victim and thus calm the millions of Americans who are outraged over the “Democratic” rigging of the 2016 primaries doesn’t seem to have worked as planned. So now there is a lot of backpedaling and denying of reality all over again. I wonder if “DNC” really stands for Denying the truth about Neoliberal Corporatism?

Here is a graphic meme everybody may use and share free of royalties (like others I have shared [1][2][3]a link back to here would be nice but isn’t a must):

Captain Kirk meets Donna Brazile (and other fine videos)

I just gotta share this. Without further ado:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Captain Kirk meets Donna Brazile”)

.

If you haven’t noticed, what’s been happening is damage control upon damage control (FBI-blaming, “Bernie Bro” gaslighting, Russia hack mania, denying the election fraud in the 2016 primaries, finally admitting a little bit of it but painting the DNC as Obama’s and Hillary’s victim, and so on):

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Donna Brazile Changes Her Story 100% – What Happened?”)

.

Passing the buck. Blaming everything on an ex, so the current and future crooks in politics can continue unimpeded. Journalists making it all about isolated figureheads instead of how we, the people, are robbed of our voice in our affairs:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: »”Journalists” Act Unsurprised At Admission The DNC Rigged Election Against Bernie Sanders«)

.

In the end, it’s all the same old “good cop/bad cop” routine played on us by the political crooks in both political gangs (the Republican and “Democratic” Party) who all work for the billionaire bandits while pretending to work for the people.

It’s high time for a new party:

Jackpot! How to Buy the “Democratic” Party for $20 Million or Less – And Rinse for a Repeat

No honor among thieves. Not even when they blow a whistle on their fellow thieves can you trust their words or intentions. That’s the conclusion we can draw from the latest political bombshell: Donna Brazile’s recent confession of the stolen 2016 primaries that you may have heard things about.

At first I was surprised, then I started thinking; and I suggest you do the same. I see far too many knee-jerk reactions and snap judgments out there related to this piece of news, and those are exactly what makes us subject to manipulation.

I highly recommend you read Donna Brazile’s Politico article yourself. In it the former interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile explains the DNC’s collusion with Hillary Clinton’s 2015-2016 campaign for nomination, a campaign that was nothing more than a dog-and-pony show because Hillary was controlling the “Democratic” Party the entire time. How? With money, honey! It’s always the money!

Video Weekend 9-23-2017 (8 Videos)

Once again, a collection of fine videos to brighten your weekend with enlightenment and fuel for our political revolution:

I.
Jimmy Dore and Lee Camp together. A fine duo. Unfortunately, I felt they had both made the same statements before, and better, when they did them alone and better prepared. Still, I like what comes up 14:20 minutes into this clip (asking why you would donate to the “Democratic Party” when its primaries are rigged by its own admission!). The talk then moves to the topic of our rigged debates keeping out third parties… handcuffing presidential candidates to keep them away from the rigged debates… and record climate events in the past two months. Later Lee Camp, talking about Bannon, reveals how our corporate media lift up right-wingers by allowing only THEM to criticize corruption even though they are part of it):

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Jimmy Dore On The Corporate State And The Power Of The Petrodollar “)

II.
Political wrangling surrounding Bernie’s Medicare for All bill:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Some Democrats Are Pretending Bernie’s ‘Medicare for All’ Bill Doesn’t Exist “)

III.
The usual lies about healthcare costs and single-payer:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Aetna CEO is Scared To Death of Single-Payer”)

Debunking one of the biggest lies: No, single-payer coverage such as Medicare for All is not single-provider healthcare, meaning a government-run healthcare, but merely a government-secured payment system. So, you can pick and choose your doctors as before, except this time their will be no question whether or not you can pay. It is simply our government doing its sworn duty to look out for its citizens.

IV.
Cha-Ching:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Obama Enriches Self With Back Room Oil Deal”)

V.
We have a responsibility not only for ourselves to fix our country:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Propaganda Buries Facts & Manipulates Emotions – Abby Martin with Chris Hedges”)

Various revelations about our country’s dark history. Also: an interesting and creepy revelation from former war correspondent Chris Hedges. He explains how the despotic regime in a foreign country went through the same motions as our southern states with their glorification of the Confederation: basically, when people are getting desperate over their worsening lives, give them a myth to feel good about, the better to control them. In our case, that myth would be the ‘noble heroism’ of our civil war’s slavery defenders, building up a white-against-black and south-against-north mentality that keeps us from uniting against the blood-sucking establishment controlling and exploiting us from above. The more divided we are, the better controlled from the top we are.

VI.
An older but very nice conversation:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Cornel West and Richard Wolff talk about Capitalism and White Supremacy”)

How much better off are freed slaves when they become enslaved by a wage slavery system? When one king of a company can hire and fire you, abuse you, rip you off and make you lick his boots – and every alternative job is just as bad – it is anathema to democracy!

VII.
Nice historic review of the last century of our economy and politics – the New Deal and its repeal:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Full Show 11/11/15: How Reaganomics Killed America’s Middle Class”)

Conclusion: we can’t keep a golden age after getting it, if we don’t topple the plutocrats who will roll back everything to resume their godlike status among a sea of serfs. The pendulum will always swing back to the dark side if we do nothing to lock it in place.

VIII.
And not to forget: the environment we depend on. One thing apparently forgotten in this conversation was the great danger that lies in our getting the permafrost soil to melt, releasing huge amounts of methane, which is a far worse greenhouse gas than CO2. Basically, we are terraforming ourselves off this planet:

Give to the “Democratic” Party — What For?

It is raining demands to donate to the “Democratic” Party and their allied organizations (like MoveOn.org), and I keep asking myself: why the hell would I give them money? To finance yet another grand show of fake primaries?

I gave to Bernie Sanders last year, but – quite frankly – I was still a little naive back then, and didn’t pay close attention to whether I was contributing to his campaign directly or via the cheating DNC which raked in millions of dollars in donations by dangling Bernie in front of our eyes while it secretly installed Shillary as their November candidate. Just think of the civil lawsuit brought against the DNC about this fraud… The DNC crooks sent their lawyers into the courtroom to declare that it’s perfectly legal for the DNC to sit in back rooms, smoking cigars and picking their candidates, no matter what the voters want who gave them donations not realizing they were financing a complete charade.

Well, in that case, why would I ever let a penny of mine get anywhere near the DNC in the future?

Listen to me, “Democratic” Party leadership: When you dismiss me, I dismiss you. Good-bye and good riddance!

A political party which can just do anything with the money we give it, regardless of what we give it for, is not worthy of my support.

The same goes for the Republican Party, of course. When have we last seen a real people’s representative on their ballots? Only independents and third-party candidates are worth our support nowadays. The two corrupt political gangs have sold us out and denied us our constitutional democracy long enough. Time we take our government back from them, and then our economy from the robber billionaires for whom both major parties work and who hold us in wage slavery and poverty, aiming to not only own title on most of everything, but the whole world and us who live in it.

Addendum: To avoid misunderstandings, when worthy candidates (against all odds!) appear on the ballot with a “D” by their names, I may still vote for them if no better independent or third party candidates did make it on the ballot. Just don’t expect me to throw away my hard-earned and insufficient-for-a-good-life money on faked primaries. Nobody should do that. And to reiterate the other issue: I want a true people’s party, whether it comes about via an internal revolution within the “Democratic” Party or via successful launch and growth of a new party with built-in bottom-up democracy as opposed to the party duopoly’s anti-democratic top-down mind manipulation and chain of command.

Yes Men DNC Stunt and Tips for a Party Takeover

Here is an interesting conversation about the Yes Men’s funny DNC stunt and tips for a party takeover:

The DNC We Don’t Have (The Jimmy Dore Show)

Here is the “Democratic” Party which we would like to have but don’t, due to its corrupted leadership:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “DNC “Spokesman” Proposes Medicare For All – Stuns Crowd”)

All the more reason to form a new political party which uses a bottom-up-democracy instead of the easily corrupted top-down hierarchy of our current party duopoly. That failing, we’d best strengthen an existing third party. My pick would currently still be the Green Party, because it is still the largest party with a good agenda. I don’t know their internal decision-making structure, though. At least locally, other third parties that work for us, the people, are also coming along. We should definitely no longer support the corrupt DemPublican Party (a.k.a. the GOP & DP). Look around and ask what that has gotten us.

Ultimate Analysis of the DNC Lawsuit against the DNC’s Election Cheating

In the corporate mass media, we get manipulation of our minds like when they sow lots of doubt about known facts. For example, when after a long media black-out Newsweek finally wrote about the DNC lawsuit, it kept painting the facts of the rigged 2016 primaries as mere “beliefs.” It’s like writing some people believe it’s snowing. All you have to do is look out of the window and see for yourself. It’s not a belief whether it’s snowing or not.   Continue reading “Ultimate Analysis of the DNC Lawsuit against the DNC’s Election Cheating”
