Video Weekend 03-24-2018 – Part 2

A worthy long speech.

I have heard (and therefore probably shared) much of this speech before (perhaps it was only a segment), but I can’t find it in my archives, so I am sharing it now in case I didn’t before. The speech starts slow and has some lulls in it, but it covers many important issues very well. So, if you can make the time to listen for an hour and a half (that’s what weekends or similar times off are for), you may want to check it out, maybe passing over the long lull at the start by skipping ahead to 12:34 minutes into the clip:

(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Global Capitalism: Cut Taxes, Deport Immigrants, Impose Tariffs [March 2018]”)

Ending Note: It takes me at least 100 hours a month to research and write for this site and work on my book. Please widely share links to these articles or help in other ways, so this work is not for naught. Donations are really great, too! Thanks. Only together can we change this messed-up world. 🙂

But, honestly, both Trump’s flirting with white supremacists and the attempt of his political opponents to turn it to their political advantage, are nothing new. I’d never bother to write a whole article about them. The deeper meanings and connections I am going to share with you today, however, might be new to you and of much greater significance than the pardoning of one bad guy. There is indeed a lot more here than meets the eye. So, keep reading…   Continue reading “Trump’s Arpaio Pardon: Far More than Meets the Eye (the things the MSM didn’t tell you)”

The Dark Side of Money – Part 2: Salient Quotes

If, like me, you were impressed by the quotes in the revealing video Money as Debt which I showcased in part one of The Dark Side of Money – and you would like them in writing for future reference – here are the most powerful ones I wrote down:

Our national circulating medium is now at the mercy of loan transactions of banks, which lend, not money, but promises to supply money they do not possess. ~ Irving Fisher, economist & author

Anyone who believes exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist. ~ Kenneth Boulding, economist

Making money from simply having money is the act of a parasite, it is theft. (slightly rephrased)
