Joseph Stalin (or Joseph Biden?) quote: “It’s completely unimportant who will vote, or how. What is extraordinarily important is who will count the votes, and how.”
A demented creep with a corrupt scumbag record who is only supported by a minority of ignorants is deceptively placed at the head of primaries via blatant vote count rigging when lesser tricks like voter suppression don’t suffice. And this guy is supposed to be our preferable alternative to Donald Trump?
If you are surprised at such negative claims about Biden, then just skim through the most recent Video Weekend posts on Beanstock’s World. Among other useful stuff, they also contain jaw-dropping reports on and recordings of Biden.
Biden voted for (or even created Congress bills) that harm so many of us, for example by cutting our social safety net (repealing FDR’s Great New Deal), eliminating bankruptcy protections, herding us into pointless evil wars, or placing millions of us in neo-slavery prisons. And he and his family not only made tons of money for themselves via bribery, but on a TV stage Biden arrogantly dismissed young people who complain about our corrupted system. On TV he even once happily admitted his political corruption. And now he is about to be anointed as the presidential D-Party candidate via blatant election fraud? This guy then is supposed to be our preferable alternative to Donald Trump and have any decent chance to win against him?
Asa little hint, here is a video that does NOT review Biden’s corrupt record but DOES dive into his current dementia which would make him a guaranteed loser if he were to run against Trump:
Biden Seems Like He Has Feathers in His Brain ~ Hard Lens Media
And despite his horrible political career record and his grossly evident dementia plus an awfully lazy campaign skipping over many states and offering no real agenda for American voters, Biden is supposed to now be soaring from a very low place in the early primaries to the very top and be magically floating ahead of the vastly popular Bernie Sanders? This is supposed to be true and real voter outcome? Not a fixed election process?

Created under great difficulties, today’s Video Weekend focuses primarily on analyzing the midterms and a path forward, but a number of other topics as well.
Stars: Mike Figueredo, Jacqueline Luqman, Paul Jay, Ralph Nader, Abby Martin, Farron Cousins, Anya Parampil, Elijah Manley, Jimmy Dore, Ron Placone, Stef Zamorano, Cenk Uygur, John Iadarola, Thom Hartmann, Marry Wood, Chris Hedges, “The Democratic Socialist Libertarian”, Paul Jay, Natalie McGill, RT America, Anya Parampil, Eugene Puryear, and trailblazing Nick Brana (and more).
One principal question: Who are we gonna vote for to save our lives if all we get on our candidacy ballots is scum vs scum? This video compilation will help answer this and other vital questions.

I. Midterm Election 2018
Too many losses. A few (way too few) progressive wins (only 2 new progressives in Congress):
This weekend compilation of enlightening videos is a little shorter and less varied since I was traveling all week, short on time, and cut off from the Internet most of the time. Still here are insightful videos esp. on the economy, its relationship with government spending and tax cuts, the SCOTUS show around Kavanaugh, the latest tax heist, the amazing political con job keeping so many folks bedazzled, fighting for election integrity and to break up the big banks, the ongoing media war, a very comprehensive speech by a major fighter for the people (Chris Hedges), and a tip of the hat to the burgeoning People’s Movement.
I. Government Spending & Economy
Mark Blyth gave a good explanation connecting private and public debt and savings and government spending & the economy:
Kings don’t like to be taxed. So, the newly formed kings (robber barons, billionaires) decided to declare all those with a leg up on the economic ladder to also be kings of sorts. Lesser kings, but still kings. Kings to hate taxes. Well-off winners of the market society’s lottery who hated the idea of paying for welfare given to the needy blamed as lazy. Those royally deluded dupes in the GOP, and later also the “Democratic” Party, promptly worked to lower and abolish taxes for the new kings, hoping to lower them for themselves as well, while getting secretly screwed with increased housing costs, insurance fees, road tolls, FICA taxes, college fees, and so forth. If you can’t think for yourself (or believe that you can’t) you prefer to leave the thinking to the traditions into which you were born. If those traditions are well-balanced, you and those around you may benefit from them. But how can you know if they are actually good traditions if you forfeit your ability to think like a smart human and instead live the instinctive life of an animal that lives its preprogrammed life? Don’t you throw away the greatest gift of humanity, the ability to evaluate, analyze, and improve things?
The theme I am discussing in this short piece is one of the two main pillars of Republican-co-opted conservatism: the placement of tradition over thinking. (Blind faith in authority is the other.) I am not saying that conservatism is bad. Good things deserve to be preserved. But do bad things deserve to be preserved, too? I don’t think so. Continue reading “Good and Bad Tradition”→
It’s the gist of 2017, but it’s also been true for a very long time. The thing to add is that some thirty years ago the “Democratic” Party joined in this feeding frenzy of the rich upon the poor. The Dems try to save face by sometimes standing up for one or the other safety net program when the Reps are attacking it. However, in the long run, both political gangs are set to steal from the poor to give to the rich. It’s the millionaire minions working for kickbacks from the robber billionaires. And whenever we, the people, turn a blind eye because the current raiders are affiliated with the party we believe to be ours, we enable them.
The below video describes the current raids:
(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Donald Trump & Republicans Want to Cut Social Safety Net Programs in 2018 “)
A big part of the self-gifting buried in the GOP Tax Scam (that chimera they call a “tax reform” which I analyzed in great detail yesterday) is the elimination of the federal estate tax. And while this is so clearly a gift the rich are giving to themselves, the Republican Party and its allied corporate media amazingly manage to get a bulk of the people whom their actions harm to cheer and support them (as they have been able to do since Ronald Reagan who was an expert in making dastardly deeds sound good). What is really going on when a poor or middle-income person defends the rich against an estate tax? It boggles the mind of anyone who understands the estate tax. So, how does this abstruse behavior come to be? Continue reading “The Estate Tax in the Big Picture”→
