Summary: Again not a week of many great videos. Remember that stars (*) on the titles I give present how good I find the videos. (*** best, ** good, * better than non-starred ones). The many non-starred ones that I finally shared can hint at my long search this week. If you have little time stick with the starred ones. Main issues: the corrupt systems and messed up mentalities.
Request: Please share with others. I, for example, can no longer share on Facebook, having been locked out of my account and search engines like Google hide posts like these.
Summary: Many videos this time are short, so the high number is not overly time consuming to watch them all. Also remember that the stars (*) are my gradings (*** best, *** better, * above basic goodness).

Summary: Way too many informative videos found this week. I felt forced to put some aside for the next weekend. Those of the current weekend deal primarily with our life-crushing modern system we must struggle to live in and the censorship of news we get (except in little truth outlets like this blog here, making subscription of it useful for people who want to stay well informed).

Understanding better our unequal society. And coming to realize that we need to create a nurturing environment that meets basic needs for everybody, rather than continuing to support a system that leeches everything away from almost everyone and places all that stolen prosperity into the vaults of a handful of king-like super-rich — plus their rich and upper-“middle-class” guards. A need to build strong, healthy communities as a basement for and part of revolutionary change before the catastrophic point of no return completely ends our future (the latter only a little discussed).
Since this holiday week produced less vital videos than usual, I dove through older ones that draw a comprehensive picture from which to grow our awareness and build plans.

Billionaires: Are thieves legitimate “winners”?
…if it weren’t for the rich stealing from us. … if about 40 years ago they hadn’t begun revving up their plunder of working Americans — this made possible by them having bought the government and having used it to deregulate themselves (removing the referee from the economic game) and also by havingused it to shift the tax burden on working families.
I reported on these economic statistics in the past and calculated that the rich are raking in at least half of our earnings (that we work for and they don’t). In fact, my own calculation came to the average working class family making $45,500 more per year if we weren’t getting robbed by the rich.
TYT recently gave a report detailing some of these stats. The clip gets most informative towards the end (6:44 min in) — the preceding stuff is less clear:

I. The People’s Wishes
Polls reveal popular policies:

II. Media
Corporate media blocking a constructive public conversation:
(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: »Bernie Yells At Chuck Todd, Stunned By Stupid Question: “Of Course Not!”«)
III. Oligarchy (Plutocracy) vs Democracy
The mentality of the lords and our suffering society. Billionaire’s quote: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Billionaires Justifying Their Wealth: ALWAYS Great Content“)
Comment: “Generational theft”, one of those manipulative brainwashing canards from the establishment, suggests that the old are stealing from the young. News flash: the young will become old and wish to retire when their bodies give out. That’s what Social Security was invented for, to ensure at the public level what t the private level often fails, say when senors’ kids died or are too poor themselves to help them through that difficult last phase of life.
Comment: The “entitlement problem”… When I think of an entitlement problem, I think of the billionaires (the 1%) and their right and left hands (the next 10 to 20%) who live in privilege that 99.9% of them were born into (the others being gold diggers and unscrupulous business predators such as hedge fund managers). They think they are entitled to owning the whole world and having us unwashed masses exit purely to serve them and powder their asses. But those very same demon lords paid PR crooks in “think tanks”, the twin-party tyranny, and the mass media to flip the term and accuse out of luck working class Americans of “entitlement” when they gratefully accept desperately needed help from a government that was created by our founders specifically to lend such help as part of serving the people. The hypocrisy and entitlement thinking of the parasites and predators living a demon lords life at the top of our dungheap society, such as this guy squeezing his wealth from thousands of Home Depot workers, are really stunning. Their motto: Me and my friends have done well. So, what’s the problem?

Let’s not forget that voting for establishment “Democrats” is also self-defeating for the American People.

VI. Economic Truths
The truth about risks and profits (risks for us, profits for the rich). Workers run more risks than entrepreneurs and investors:
(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Economic Update: Another Gilded Age“)
Gist: We are always being told that capitalist inequality is justified by entrepreneurs/investors taking risks with their wealth when they invest into businesses. In truth, if they are half-way smart or well consulted, their eggs are never in a single basket. Meanwhile, workers who “choose” to work for them can loose their jobs, employability, homes, healthcare, and families when those entrepreneurs/investors or their CEOs make mistakes or callous decisions. As workers, in our current system, we live at the mercy of the plutocrats, A.K.A. the 1% and their henchmen.
Money is political, bank magic, inflation, deflation, gold standard, bitcoin, growing fascism, system analysis, DM, healthcare profiteering, pretenses of right-wing populists, changing the conversation…:

One of the main arguments of those who hold back progress towards a better life for all is the claim of scarcity, such as “We can’t afford it!”, “Who is gonna pay for it?”, “If we help the poor who will then do the needful work?”, and so on. Claims, excuses, and doubts based on the concept of scarcity are easily believed because, like all creatures on Earth, we humans have been living with scarcity as a natural occurrence throughout most of our kind’s existence. But are we plagued by natural scarcity in these modern times? I say: No! Scarcity today is artificial — and you can easily determine this for yourself in just a few minutes of reading this piece.  Continue reading “Scarcity Made to Order”→
Last weekend, I featured Lee Camp a lot (including a “So, who is Lee?” segment sharing a more personal interview with him). This weekend, a lot of great Jimmy Dore videos piled up, most of which I didn’t have the time to include in yesterday’s video weekend compilation. To repair that, here are the ones I couldn’t include yesterday but would have liked to. They are some of his best. If you missed them during the last few days, I hope you have the time today to watch them. Enjoy! Especially #2 is superb!
I. Good one: Behold the lock-step march of the establishment’s propaganda-spewing Big Media monopoly, spiked with their script-reading talking heads (all massively overpaid so they won’t question their treacherous work). Jimmy reminds us how this propaganda army was enabled by Bill Clinton and the neoliberal Fake-Democrats, out to destroy the last vestiges of democracy together with their Republican buddies while pretending to protect it. The work of two corrupt political gangs… pardon me… “parties”:
(Note: if the video linked above gets deleted, you may search the Internet for the title: “Sinclair Media Nightmare Made Possible By Clinton & Democrats“)
II. Excellent one: Upsetting the apple cart. Tim Canova, who challenged utterly corrupt Debbie Wasserman Schultz in 2016 and – by all appearance – was cheated out of the race with election fraud just like Bernie Sanders, has left the “Democratic” Party to fight Wasserman Schultz from the outside since fighting from the inside was made impossible by the corrupt party bosses. This led to a really cool conversation with Jimmy Dore about our rigged elections (and the Russian phantoms) with some hard facts:
